Staple Design x AIRWALK – STPL x AIRWALK Launch Party | Event Recap
Last evening marked the premiere event celebrating the upcoming collection between New York City-base Staple Design, one of many Jeff Staple venture, and the classic footwear label AIRWALK. Hosted at Openhouse Gallery, the event culminated AIRWALK’s 23 years as board-sport lifestyle brand, with Past.Present.Now, a Staple Design curated retrospective which highlights some of AIRWALK’s most important models. The event also saw over 400+ well wishers from NYC area, including artist HAZE, crew from Nike Sportswear, 10.Deep, Quest NY, Opening Ceremony, LRG, and more… with music from none other than DJ Neil Armstrong. In addition, housed in an adjunct space was the STPL x AIRWALK Line, a 9-model capsule collection for both Men & Women that will be available this August 11th at Payless retail locations and Payless.com across North America.

It’s hitting Payless in a few days. Just so you all know, I’m helping Airwalk get the word out on this collab, but as a sneakerhead myself, i’m really excited about these – its a pretty sweet design from jeffstaple, and they’re all under 50 bucks – you cant really beat that… dropping nationwide August 11th.
